How a set of waves comes together
Three steps, after your blowout.

Step 1: Blowout
The dry sets the base, because waves sit better on smooth, dry hair.
- 0220–30 min
Step 2: Shape
Sections are curled with an iron, or diffused for natural curls, and left to cool.
- 0310 min
Step 3: Brush and set
The waves are brushed out and pinned or sprayed into the line you chose.

How long will the waves last?
It depends on your hair and the evening. Fine, straight hair loosens sooner than thick or wavy hair, and your stylist tells you how to look after it.
Can you do curls on natural curls?
Yes. Defined curls are shaped and dried with a diffuser, and your stylist works with the pattern you have.
